KTM RC250 Rival CFMoto 300SR/250SR Spotted Again

Recent CFMoto 300SR spy pics have confirmed that the maker is working on sporty faired sports motorcycle duo.

CFMoto has very recently set foot in India and it has grabbed a lot of eyeballs because of the very aggressive pricing of its motorcycles. Specially the 650NK looks like a killer deal at 3.99 Lakh, significantly lesser than its immediate competitor Z650 from Kawasaki. However, how do they perform on the road is what will determine the brand’s success in the market.

Not just that, it is also working on enhancing its product portfolio, Earlier this year, CFMoto showcased a full faired race-spec version of a motorcycle which they called as 250SR. Its production version was leaked for the first time recently by Bennetts (pics on this page) few days back followed by some more spy pics recently by Weibo. In a latest update, the best ever pic (featured pic) of the upcoming bike almost reveals it in total.

This is the road going version and will get a 250cc or a 300cc engine based on the market it will go to. And quite naturally, both these models will be based on their naked siblings – 250NK and 300NK respectively.

The test mules sport an aggressive looking split headlamp design accentuated by the interesting C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights. There is a chunky fuel tank and the overall design lines run across to an upswept, sporty tail. Quite clearly, this faired sportster borrows a lot of hardware bits from its naked sibling.

These mules run on upside down front forks and appear to have a slightly longer wheelbase. Considering the completeness of these two mules it appears that the motorcycle may be unveiled soon, probably at the coming EICMA, followed by its launch.
