CFMoto 400cc launch in India announced in a couple of months. They have two models in this displacement internationally – 400NK and 400GT.
CFMoto recently created a big bang with their entry in the Indian market. Look at that – they are offering a 650 cc twin cylinder modern sports motorcycle at a price tag of Rs 3.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) only (launch story)!

Along with that, they have on offer one 300cc single cylinder and two other 650cc motorcycles. They are not going to stop at that and they have announced oncoming of new 400cc motorcycles as well. During the launch ceremony, Vamsi Krishna of AMW Motorcycles confirmed their plans and said,
We are targeting right from 300 to 650 cc segment as of now. The product line will be good. Over couple of months we will be launching 400 (cc) segments in the Indian market.
Internationally, CFMoto has two models in the 400cc range – both miniature models of the 650s. The 400GT and 400NK come equipped with the new 400cc, inline, DOHC, fuel injected, twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine. This motor is good for about 42 PS of power and nearly 35 Nm of torque. These models share a lot of hardware with their elder siblings and look almost identical.

Like the current lineup, these 400s will also be assembled through CKD (completely knocked down) kits at AMW’s assembly plant in Bangalore. Considering the aggression of CFMoto, they can price these 400s between the 3-4.5 Lakh price band and specially the GT could be one real interesting model in the lineup.
