After showcasing it at the Auto Expo earlier this month, Suzuki has officially launched the Bharat Stage 6 compliant 2020 Burgman Street in India. The scooter continues with its aggressive, bulky styling with very similar specs and tyres.
It is now equipped with fuel injection and produces 8.7 PS of peak power at 6750 rpm and 10 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm from the same 124cc engine. As compared to the outgoing BS4 model, the new BS6 Burgman produces the same power and it also peaks 250 rpm earlier. On the other hand, it has lost 0.2 Nm of torque and it also peaks in 500 rpm later in the range.
On the feature front, the new Burgman Street comes with Integrated Engine start and Kill switch with Suzuki Easy Start system. It also gets a new colour – Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red which joins the existing lineup of Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Matte Black.

The BS4 version of the scooter was priced at Rs 71,002 which means the hike in this transition is Rs 6898 which is roughly 9 percent over the BS4 trim.
