Honda have launched their much awaited BSVI compliant CB300R neo-Cafe racer in India which has been very popular in the biking community since its launch in 2019. We have talked about its launch in this story.

BS6 vs BS4 CB300R Differences

Let us quickly list the differences between the older BS4 model against the 2022 version..

  • Engine – The major difference in the new model is the addition of BSVI compliance which came into effect in the year 2020 (in India). According to an earlier press note, this engine is probably being made in India and we are the first people to get the BS6/Euro 5 compliant model in the world.
  • Power/Torque: Unlike other models, compliance with these tighter emission norms has bumped up the power and torque figures marginally. The 2022 CB300R produces 0.7 PS of higher power and 0.1 Nm of better torque. They, however, come 1000 rpm later in the rev range.
  • Fuel Tank Capacity: For some reason, Honda have to reduce the capacity of the fuel tank by a tiny bit.
