The country has transitioned to the newer and stricter BS6 emission norms. This means that every manufacturer has to upgrade all the motorcycles with engines that are greener and environment friendly.
Now, this is a big task at hand for all the automakers specially considering that India leapfrogged from BS4 to BS6 directly. This meant death of many models and the ones that lived became significantly expensive.
Qianjiang Group-owned Benelli had found a new partner for India after its erstwhile distributor DSK faced financial issues. And with a new found energy, it has now plans to flood the market with Bharat Stage 6 compliant models. Apart from the existing Imperiale 400, which is the lone BS6 model for the brand here, Benelli has officially announced to launch as many as seven BS6 models in the country in the coming months.

Imperiale 400 BS6 vs BS4 – 3 Spec Changes That We Can Notice
For reference, the Imperiale 400 BS6 was launched last year at Rs 1.99 lakhs, which was around Rs. 20,000 more expensive than its predecessor. So, we can expect similar increments of about 10-15 percent on most of the bikes.
