Benelli TRK 251 is one motorcycle which has caught everybody’s attention ever since it was first unveiled by the brand. Instead of calling it an adventure tourer, Benelli has termed it as adventure ‘cruiser’ basically to impart this notion that it is more of a road going motorcycle.
In a latest it has officially been launched in Malaysia at RM 14,688 for the ABS model (RM 13,888 or for the non-ABS variant). This translates to about 2.50 Lakh in INR (2.38 Lakh INR for non-ABS).
Benelli already sells the TRK 502 in Malaysia at around RM 31,000 which is roughly 5.30 Lakh in INR. TRK 502 was introduced in India in February this year and now costs Rs 5.10 Lakh (after the Rs 10,000 hike in April 2019), which is around a similar ballpark as its Malaysian prices.
Moving onto the Leoncino 500 – it has a price tag of close to RM 30,000 in Malaysia which is about 5.10 Lakh in INR and its introductory price tag in India is 4.80 Lakh ex-showroom.

This, kind of, gives us a rough idea at the possible pricing for TRK 251 – of about Rs 2.40-2.60 Lakh, if it gets launched in the coming months with the BS IV engine. With the Xpulse at ~1 Lakh, bigger engined Himalayan at around 1.80 Lakh and the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure expected at a price tag of around Rs 2.70-2.80 lakhs, will bikers consider the TRK 251 as a worthy offering?
