Benelli’s Most Affordable Motorcycle Imperiale 400 Gets Costlier by 10K

Benelli Imperiale 400 latest price hike has made it slightly costlier but Classic 350 has also seen a major price increase recently…

Benelli officially launched its most affordable motorcycle – the Imperiale 400 in India in October 2019 bang against the Royal Enfield and Jawa. It was priced attractively at Rs 1.69 Lakh and four months later, the maker has hiked the prices of the motorcycle by Rs 10,000.

The silver variant of Imperiale 400 now costs Rs 1.79 Lakh whereas the Red and Black colour options are now priced at Rs 1.89 Lakh – all ex-showroom. It must be known that these prices are for the BS4 variant only as Benelli hasn’t shared any information regarding the motorcycle’s update to BS6 norms. This price hike comes at an interesting juncture but we believe Imperiale will not see a major price hike for its BS6 version, if at all!

The beautiful looking classic continues to be powered by a 373.5cc single cylinder, SOHC engine which is good for 21 PS of peak power and 29 Nm of max torque. It is already fuel injected and comes equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. It remains to be seen what changes to these figures will the BS6 version get.
