Qianjiang – the parent brand of Benelli has branched out another sub-brand QJMotor that may probably be limited to the Chinese market. The strategy looks like – QJMotor bikes to focus on the domestic market and motorcycles on same platform for international markets but under the much more popular Benelli moniker.
There has been a barrage of upcoming products the maker is ready with. In a latest update, a new QJMotor’s near-350cc motorcycle has been snapped. It wears the ‘Q’ tag on the tank and ‘350’ stickers on the side panels.
Now, if we look closely, it shares a lot of similarities with Benelli 302S including the frame and styling. However, this model gets a new oval headlamp (with DRLs), extended tank scoops, split seat, etc. The engine appears to be a parallel twin motor (of capacity near 350cc). And hence, an equivalent Benelli of this model could be marketed as 350S going by the Italian’s branding methodology.
