It is so good to see corporates taking care of their employees in this pandemic which has left many families devastated. Bajaj has announced COVID CARE Efforts for its employees as well as the community.

Bajaj says it will provide monetary support for a period of two years to the family of any employee who gets deceased due to COVID. Additionally, it will help in dependent children’s education till graduation in any field of their choice. Moreover, the company will also offer a 5-year hospitalisation insurance for all family members of the deceased employee.

Apart from this, Bajaj has also created COVID care facilities of more than 250 beds across its plants in India for its employees and their family members. The Pune based maker has partnered with Akurdi Hospital and Pune Municipal Corporation to set up vaccination camps to inoculate its employees.

This is in addition to the Rs 300 crore pledge the company has undertaken to help the governments fight the deadly virus. Bajaj is also distributing food packets to the needy on a daily basis since last year.
