One of the biggest news of the year is the launch of the Dominar 250 in India. We have discussed the motorcycle in this launch story. Since its media ride got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, let us quickly take a look at the sports tourer in few official pics..

The new Dominar 250 carries over the bulky styling of the Dominar 400. It has the same sports tourer stance with 37 mm upside down front forks, big, muscular tank, LED headlamps.

It borrows the engine from the 250 Duke which is slightly detuned. The Bajaj’s twin spark 248.7 cc motor is liquid cooled and DOHC from day one. It produces 27 PS of peak power and 23.5 Nm of max torque.

The front LED has mosaic design and has 10 sub-units inside the assembly. The front forks have a travel of 135 mm and the motorcycle appears to continue with MRF tyres. On offer is a dual channel ABS system.

The new Dominar 250 gets thinner 100 mm wide and 130 mm wide front and rear tyres respectively. The front brake of 300 mm is slightly smaller than Dominar 400’s 320 mm rotor as well. It also carries slightly different alloy wheel design and relatively basic swingarm.

A part of the package is the dual barrel exhaust which offers a throaty note on the 400. It has been priced at Rs 1.60 Lakh ex-showroom Delhi which is 30K+ lesser than Dominar 400.
