If you love twin cylinder 250ccs and Ninja 300 is just out of your budget and Inazuma, you feel, is not interesting, what other option do you have? Kawasaki Z250 it had to be, NO..?
A report published at Autocar says that Kawasaki India has delayed the launch of their naked Ninja – Z250. They say that the naked twin cylinder is going through internal company tests before they send it for homologation at ARAI.
Apart from the Kawasaki, Hyosung was also supposed to launch their GD250N in India but Autocar says that it is undergoing homologation at ARAI and hence DSK Hyosung has decided to delay the launch. However, they have not mentioned the time frame when both these bikes will be able to make it our showrooms.
In an earlier report, it was claimed that DSK Hyosung will launch their faired GD250R before the naked GD250N. So, its a complex little story this but both these bikes will definitely come to India for sure and soon is what we believe.
For the starters, Z250 is a 249cc 4 stroke parallel twin motorcycle which returns 33PS of power and is the naked version of the Ninja 250R we have known. It will be the most affordable Kawasaki in India for sure.
On the other hand, GD250N is the most modern 250cc motorcycle from the house of Hyosung. From its 249cc single cylinder fuel injected engine, it delivers a maximum power output of 28bhp. Both the motorcycles will be launched in India as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) units.
