A while ago we posted an update at our Facebook page asking our readers if KTM still retains the value for money perspective for sportier bikes? To which most of the bikers said – NO! And that appears to be a conscious decision that the brand has taken. It has been increasing prices of its models consistently in the last few years.
The 390 Adventure is currently KTM’s flagship bike in India that is manufactured locally. It was introduced here last year at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 2.99 Lakh. However, the model has consistently seen price hikes in the last 18 months and there is another one now.

In this latest revision, the 390 Adventure has become costlier by around Rs 11,500 or ~3.6 2 percent. As compared to the launch price, the 390 Adventure has become dearer by around Rs 29,000 or almost 10 percent.

That takes it fairly over the Rs 3.18 Lakh mark which is the price for the twin cylinder Ninja 300 which was launched earlier this year. It (the Ninja 300) is India’s most affordable multi cylinder full faired motorcycle and this is the first time that any locally made KTM has crossed this price barrier!
On the other hand, KTM has reduced the price of its 250 Adventure by a fairly big amount, but for a limited period. Here are the details.
