2023 Karizma new price will be applicable from next month onwards and you still have time to get it at the original tag…
In my August 26th article titled “2023 Karizma – Here is What I Think It Must Be Priced At…“, I clearly said that Hero was trying to build up a higher-price hype (of around or over 2 Lakh) for the motorcycle and it could come at around Rs 1.80-1.90 Lac. I also added that an aggressive price tag of around Rs 1.60-1.69 Lac instead would help the motorcycle gain initial traction and later on Hero can increase it – like it did for the Harley Davidson X440.
Eventually, couple of days later the Karizma was officially launched at Rs 1.73 Lac – precariously close to what I had estimated and Hero did tag it as an ‘introductory price’. Now after almost a month, Hero has revealed the new, increased and hopefully permanent price tag of the full-faired motorcycle.

So, the Karizma will be available at almost Rs 1.80 Lac – a price tag that I had said that Hero may have in mind. This will be an increase of Rs 7000 over the launch tag. But, if you are interested in this model you still have time to get it at that introductory price of Rs 1.73 Lakh – if you book it till 30th September midnight. You will also be eligible for deliveries from the first window itself.
Hero will announce the commencement of the second window of bookings later and that will be with the new price tag (of Rs 1.80 Lac).
In an update, Hero has announced that the production of the 2023 Karizma has already commenced and deliveries will also start very soon. It must be noted that the Karizma comes with a 210cc, liquid cooled, DOHC engine that churns 25.5 PS of peak power and 20.4 Nm of max torque. That means it is more powerful than even the KTM RC200!
It also comes with some interesting features like adjustable windshield, turn-by-turn navigation, intelligent illumination headlamp, etc. So, if you are a fence sitter, you still have time to save some money.
