The KARIZMA moniker is back and back with a bang! At an event today, Hero MotoCorp has officially announced the launch of the new Karizma XMR in India.
The full faired motorcycle produces 25.5 PS of peak power at 9250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of max torque at 7250 rpm from its 210cc, 4-valve DOHC, Liquid Cooled engine which is a first for Hero! That means it produces more power and torque than the KTM RC200. This is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. All of this is mounted on a Trellis frame – which is again a first for Hero. The complete hardware is all-new!
The peak rpm figures suggest that it will be a high-revving engine and raised handlebars and the overall rider geometry is of a sports tourer – like the original Karizmas. At the front, the motorcycle gets dual LED headlamps that lend it an aggressive stance and the rest of the design also looks fresh and pointed!

Among key features, the new Karizma comes with dual channels ABS, slip and assist clutch, adjustable windshield, illuminated switchgear, etc. There is an LCD instrumentation that comes with turn by turn navigation.
