So, TVS ended up surprising everyone by announcing the launch of updated models of their older-generation Apache 160 and 180 in India today. We will quickly talk about the 180 in this article. You can check 2023 Apache 160 details in this story.

2023 Apache 180

The basic design has been left untouched, however, the motorcycle now gets some very interesting feature upgrades, some of which are listed below..

  • LED headlamp
  • LED tail lamp
  • Wider tyre
  • Gear shift and position indicator

Apart from these, the biggest change is the introduction of a full digital instrument console that gets Bluetooth connectivity with SmartXonnect. This means that you get a whole lot of information on the screen that includes turn by turn navigation.

TVS has also added three ride modes to the motorcycle – Sport, Urban and Rain.

The new 180 churns 17.02 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 15.50 Nm of max torque at 7000 from the same 177cc single cylinder engine. This is an increase of 0.23 PS as compared to the older model. TVS also informs that it has managed to reduce the overall weight of the motorcycle by 1 kg.

With all the above mentioned features, the new Apache 180 costs Rs 1.30 Lac which is an increase of almost Rs 10,000 (Rs 9900 to be precise) over the older model. This also changes its placement in the Apache range. The 180 that was placed below the Apache 160 4V so far is now costlier by almost Rs 9000!
