SPIED: 2023 Apache 160 Spotted; More Power?

2023 Apache 160 pic suggests that TVS is preparing an update for the motorcycle. Will it get the bigger engine from the Apache 165 RP…?

TVS updating its products is almost a yearly ritual and that gives us all the latest features that hit the market. Its Apache 160 4V is one such product that has been a hot favorite in the premium 150cc segment.

And ahead of the festive season, the Chennai based maker has been caught testing its update. While the basic silhouette and the overall cycle parts appear to be similar to the existing model, the exhaust unit is different. This suggests that the 2023 Apache 160 may get some mechanical changes apart from few cosmetic enhancements that are a given.

Will the Apache 160 get the bigger engine from the Apache 165 RP…?

The Apache 160 4V already produces 17.5 PS of peak power that is segment best. But with the entry of the new Pulsar N160 things have become interesting in this segment. Will we get more power or is this update more towards improving the rideability of the motorcycle? Note that the Pulsar N160 is brilliant in terms of low speed tractability. You can check the following video to know how good it is…

Also, TVS recently branched out Apache 165 RP – which was a limited edition model that churned 19.2 PS of peak power from a slightly bigger nearly 165cc engine. Is that new motor going mainstream?
