KTM has officially unveiled its new-generation RC lineup of motorcycles. This includes the beginner level yet the expensive KTM RC125.

The 2022 RC125 shares the same, muted design of the RC390, which looses the hooliganism of the older model. Notable changes can be seen on the headlight section which has undergone a complete revamp. Now instead of twin projector lamps, there is the bigger LED lamp.

The fairing has become more aerodynamic and has been redesigned. At the same time, the design is kept simple enough to enable easy removal of parts when required.

This time the 2022 RC125 uses a lighter framework as compared to the existing model. This makes the bike weigh 1.5kgs lesser.

It uses WP APEX open cartridge front forks along with WP Apex shock absorber that features a split piston functionality. While the RC390 shares the same suspension setup as the RC125, the ones on the 125 are not adjustable.

The RC125 continues to use the liquid-cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke engine with twin overhead camshafts, and supports electronic fuel injection. The revamped airbox design ensures that the RC125 delivers better torque.

Additionally, the 2022 RC125 gets a TFT instrument console that supports Bluetooth connectivity, music play, and attending calls on the go, which, surprisingly, the new RC200 misses out on. However, these specs and features are for the international version and the India-spec model may also get a cost-cut cluster, once launch.
