2021 RC390 launch touted to be around July and August by dealers. The new RC200 is also coming. Some are also taking bookings…

That KTM is readying its next-generation of RCs is old news! Things have now progressed to their launch timelines. We should now talk how soon will we get to see them in our nearest showrooms.

Undisguised spy picture of what appears to be the 2021 RC390 surfaced just yesterday. In a latest update, according to Autocar, some dealers have started accepting bookings of not only the flagship RC390 but also its smaller sibling RC200 – obviously unofficially. They are demanding an amount of Rs 1000-5000 depending on how rich you look 😀

Now comes the most important bit – most of the dealers believe that KTM is readying these upcoming RCs for a showdown by July or August 2021. There may be some internal communication from KTM as well. With May almost over, our wait may just be of a few weeks.

Mysterious Next-Gen DUKE Test Mules Spotted; BIG Changes Coming

The new RCs are talk of the town but not for very good reasons. From the spy pics that have emerged, the complete turnaround of the design theme hasn’t gone down well with KTM fans. And to be frank, there is some kind of disproportion associated with it – gauging purely by spy pics. KTM has also altered the seating posture of the RCs and clearly, it is trying to make it a more acceptable motorcycle.

In terms of features the RC390 will almost certainly get a colored TFT instrumentation capable of smartphone pairability via Bluetooth, just like the current 390 Duke. There may be various other changes that we will come to know in the days to come.
