Sexier 2021 Jawa Forty Two Launched at 1.84 Lakh; Is More Powerful

2021 Forty Two price is about Rs 6800 more than the older model that will continue to be on sale. There are cosmetic and mechanical changes…

Barely a few days back we first saw a slightly different Forty Two test mule under tests on our Indian roads. And today, Jawa has officially announced its arrival.

First introduced in 2018, Jawa has launched the 2021 Forty Two in India. It gets a lot of cosmetic and some mechanical changes. But before we talk about them it should be noted that the older Forty Two will continue to be on sale alongside the new model.

The 2021 Forty Two looks a lot more roadster-like and comes in three new flashier colors – Orion Red, AllStar Black and Sirius White. There is a grey colored stripe on all the variants which adds to the overall sporty styling.

Instead of spoke wheels, the new model wears 13-spoke alloy wheels and tyres that are tubeless.

Among other features, there are sportier bar-end mirrors, a tripmeter and a throatier exhaust note. Comfort levels are claimed to be better with a redesigned seat pan and cushioning. Jawa has also worked on the suspension and frame which has resulted in a higher ground clearance and better handling (company’s claim).
