Ducati has officially launched the all new Monster in India at starting prices of INR 10.99 Lac. The Italian maker claims that the new Monster is the lightest among all the other rival bikes, and has a great ride experience to offer.

2021 Ducati Supersport 950 Launched at ₹13.49 Lac

The Monster Plus version is being offered in the same colors as the standard variant but gets an aerodynamic windshield and rear seat cover as a stock fitment.

The new Monster gets its power from a Testastretta 11°, 937 cc L-twin engine with Desmodromic technology. From the previous model, the new one has stepped up in terms of displacement, power delivery, and torque.

It churns 111 bhp of power at 9250 RPM and 93 Nm of max Torque at 6500 RPM.

Ducati further informs that the new frame on the Monster weighs just 3 kilos – a drop of whopping 4.5 kg! Along with other weight reduction measures, the Monster now weighs only 166 kgs – which is lighter than the Monster 821 by 18 kg. Ducati informs that it has also used Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) to make the motorcycle lightweight.

The 2021 Monster comes loaded with electronics and features such as adjustable ABS Cornering, Traction Control, Wheelie Control and launch control. It also comes with three Ride Modes – Sport, Urban, and Touring.

Bookings for the 2021 Monster are now open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata & Chennai. Deliveries will also commence immediately.
