The naked supersport BMW S1000 R has been launched in Indian in compliance with the BS6 norms. It will be sold as a CBU (completely built-up unit). Bookings for the new model have also begun at all the BMW Motorrad dealerships in India.
2021 BMW S1000R Price
The BMW S1000 R is available in three models – Standard, R Pro, and R Pro M Sport. Here is the pricing for each of these models.

The new S1000 R is roughly INR 1.50 lakh costlier than its older variant on the base price.
It packs a powerful 999 cc oil-cooled inline-4 engine that offers 165 PS of power output at 11,000 RPM along with 114 Nm of torque at 9250 RPM. It has a six-speed gearbox.
The supernaked can attain a maximum of 250km/h of speed. It goes from 0-100Km is 3.2 seconds.
This naked superbike has been derived from its fully-faired cousin the S1000 RR. The new 2021 S1000 R is the first superbike from BMW to have the same color finish as that of the flagship track supersport BMW M1000 RR.
If the customer opts for the M-package then they get their S1000 R in an exclusive M Motorsport finish which combines white, blue, and red shades on the body.
2021 BMW RNineT Launched in India at 16.75 Lac
The Standard and R Pro models of BMW S1000 R will be available in Racing Red and Hockenheim Silver Metallic. The top variant Pro M Sport will be exclusively available with the light-white/M Sport finish.
2021 BMW S1000 R – Features
The BMW S1000 R offers four modes – Rain, Road, Dynamic and Dynamic Pro as a standard on all the models. The Dynamic Pro mode has Dynamic Brake Control that helps in emergency braking
Along with that the naked supersport also packs Engine braking, Traction Control, Wheelie-Control, ABS, and ABS Pro.
The rider can use the BMW Motorrad Connectivity App to connect their superbike to utilize arrow navigation, route import, and waypoint guidance while riding.
Speaking of the top models of S1000 R BS6, the Pro and the Pro M Sport will have features like keyless riding, heated grips, cruise control, and USB charging facilities. In the 1000cc naked superbike segment, S1000 R is going to compete with Kawasaki Z H2, Triumph Speed Triple RS 1200 among others.
