It appears TVS has decided to focus completely on its lone offering in the 300cc space the Apache RR 310 before jumping the gun with another model in this segment (that has already been talked about the company officials). This, we believe, is a clever and a very responsible strategy.
Just when we thought things are settled and TVS may be happy with the BS6 compliant product it launched last year, the Chennai based maker is sending out invites to the media which has pretty clear hints about an updated version.
The invite includes a frame with an animated picture of the journalist along with a blurred Apache 310. The frame further reads the date and most importantly the venue ie MMRT – the Madras Motor Race Track. It must be remembered that the Apache RR 310 was born here and even the 2020 version was introduced on this very circuit.
Now, it can not simply be a cosmetic update otherwise TVS would not be calling the auto media to the circuit. There must be fairly comprehensive changes to justify the costs the company is incurring on this event.

There could be tons of speculations for this but frankly, nobody knows anything at this point and everybody is caught surprised at this development.
