It was in November 2020 that TVS announced the launch of ride modes on its Apache 200. This feature percolated from the elder sibling Apache 310 which received it in its BS6 update early last year. However, till now it was available only on the top of the line dual channel Apache 200.
Fast forward to March 2021 and TVS has announced the new Apache 200 single channel ABS with ride modes. Like the dual ABS version, the single ABS Apache 200 also now comes with adjustable front suspension, adjustable brake and clutch levers.
The three ride modes are Urban (optimum power and control and intrusive ABS), Rain (maximum ABS intrusion) and Sport (maximum power, least ABS intrusion). You can read more about these modes and their differences here.

The price of the dual ABS Apache 200 (with ride modes) has been increased to Rs 1,33,070 which means TVS is charging a premium of Rs 5050.
