2020 Yamaha FZ25 Range Launched at ₹1.52 Lakh

New Yamaha FZ25 BS6 price hike is very significant in this transition and it now inches closer to mainstream quarter liter motorcycles despite the power deficit!

As you all know, Yamaha has bifurcated its 250cc FZ range into two variants – the standard FZ25 and the new FZS-25. The 250cc Fazer is no more which effectively means that, at this point, the FZS25 could be considered as its replacement.

And after a long wait, Yamaha has announced the official prices of both the streetfighter motorcycles. Here they are..

Yamaha FZ25 BS6 Price

2020 FZ25 Rs 1,52,100
2020 FZS 25Rs 1,57,100
*all prices ex-showroom Delhi

These are significantly higher than what we had anticipated. For reference, the older FZ25, which was already fuel injected, costed Rs 1,34,680. Which means that the hike is Rs 17,420 or almost 13 percent! We have seen these types of price hikes in entry level motorcycles and costlier bikes have seen relatively lesser increments.

To justify the premium, Yamaha has updated the motorcycle cosmetically. Though, at 20.8 PS and 20.1 Nm, the power and torque figures have remained similar (a marginal loss of 0.1 PS and gain of 0.1 Nm), there are updates to the styling.
