In a bid to keep their motorcycles in limelight, automakers use various tactics. Some of them include updating graphics, launching newer paint schemes, merchandise, limited editions, etc.
On similar lines, Japanese maker Yamaha has unveiled a new limited-edition variant of its streetfighter MT15 at the ongoing Bangkok Auto Show. The new variant comes in a very striking teal-green color, which makes the bike look very vibrant.
The green/blue color is complemented by fluorescent yellow colored rims, gold anodized upside-down forks and yellow colored ascents on the body parts.

The Limited Edition MT15 has already been launched in the Thai market at the same retail price of 98,500 Thai Baht, which translates to around 2.32 lakh INR. This means that there ain’t any premium that Yamaha is charging for this special model.

There are no mechanical changes and the special edition MT15 continues to run the same R15 borrowed 155 cc SOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is equipped with VVA (variable-valve actuation) technology. The India-spec BS6 model produces peak power of 18.5 PS at 10000 rpm, along with 13.9 Nm peak torque.
