2020 Maestro Edge BS6 launch anytime soon. Its specs, prices and most other details have been updated at the official website…
In the 110cc space, Hero MotoCorp only updated its Pleasure to the new Bharat Stage 6 emission norms leaving the Maestro Edge as well as Duet out of the portfolio. The 125s – Maestro Edge 125 and Destini are already on sale. However, in a latest move, the 2020 Maestro Edge 110 has been revealed officially.
The new scoot continues with the 110.9 cc air cooled engine which is now fuel injected. It pumps 8 bhp of peak power at 7500 rpm and 8.75 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm. It weighs 112 kilos which is 1 kg higher than the Maestro Edge 125 drum variant. There is no disc brake trim on the Maestro Edge 110.
The scoot is now claimed to offer better pickup, higher fuel efficiency, improved uphill climb and many other updates in the presence of various sensors.
Though the basic design has remained unchanged, Hero has now slapped tons of funky stickers to make it look fresher. Test ride applications are being taken but there is no price revelation as of now.
After its specs, Hero has also revealed the price of the scooter on the official website. It costs Rs 60,950 for VX variant with drum brakes and alloy wheels and the higher trim, listed as Alloy Wheel – FI, has been priced at Rs 62,450 – all prices ex-showroom Delhi.
It sits right between the Pleasure Plus and Destini. Chances are that its 110cc sibling Duet may not see the BS6 era however.
