New Dominar 400 BS6 price increase is one of the lowest in the industry in percentage terms. It appears the 2019 model was updated closer to emission compliance…
Bajaj has updated its website with the price of the 2020 Dominar 400 which is now Bharat Stage 6 compliant. Though the specs page has remain unupdated, we already know most of the specs of the motorcycle through the doc that got leaked earlier in March.
2020 Dominar 400 BS6 Price
|New Dominar 400 BS6||Rs 1,91,751|
The older Dominar 400 was priced at Rs 1,90,002 which means the price hike is merely Rs 1749 or about 0.9 percent. This is one of the lowest percent hikes we have seen in this transition. But it must be remembered that Bajaj continuously increased the price of its flagship sports tourer from Rs 1.60 Lakh at launch to the current tag – all in a matter of about three years.
*all prices ex-showroom
The Dominar 400 BS6 continues with the 373.3 cc, liquid cooled, triple spark, DOHC, 4-valve engine which produces the same 40 PS of power but it now peaks 150 rpm later at 8800 rpm. 35 Nm of max torque is expected to remain the same.
Another change is the hike in kerb weight of the motorcycle because of the addition of emission equipments. It now weighs 187 kilos from 184 kg of the BS4 mode – an increase of 3 kilos overall.
Other features like LED headlamps, slipper clutch, dual channel ABS, 43 mm Upside down front forks. 13 liter fuel tank and radial tyres are expected to continue unchanged.
