Five Dominar 250 highlights which talk about the ‘firsts’ it has on offer in this segment – right from its power to price to bhp ratio, etc
Through a press note, Bajaj has officially announced the launch of the Dominar 250 in India which was confirmed a few days back. Though it may seem to many as just a downsized version of the Dominar 400, this motorcycle carries a lot of potential and it may go on to become one of the big sellers in this segment.
We quickly list what ‘firsts‘ it brings to this segment…
Bajaj’s First 250cc Bike – Till a few years back, the biggest bike under Bajaj’s moniker was the Pulsar 220. It, then, leapfrogged to the 375 cc engined Dominar 400 which remains the company’s flagship motorcycle till date. With its smaller sibling, Bajaj has officially ventured into the quarter liter segment; yes, Dominar 250 is Bajaj’s first 250cc motorcycle.
Most Powerful 250cc* – If we take its siblings – Husqvarna and KTM out of the equation, the Dominar 250 is India’s most powerful motorcycle. At 27 PS/23.5 Nm, it is more powerful than Gixxer 250s, FZ25 range, CBR 250R and Benelli Leoncino 250!
Cheapest Motorcycle with Upside-Down Forks* – Again, if we leave the KTM 125s out of the equation, Dominar 250 is the most affordable motorcycle with premium upside down front forks.
