More Powerful Pulsar NS200 BS6 Launched; Costs Equal to Apache 200

2020 Pulsar NS200 BS6 price increment is over 10,000 or nearly 9.5 percent over the older model. It gets some interesting changes in the process…

Bajaj has officially updated its website with the details of its new Pulsar range which has become Bharat Stage 6 compliant. The Pulsar NS200 has also been introduced with BS6 compliance and it does get a few changes in the process.

The biggest difference is that the naked streetster is now fuel injected. Bajaj sold the carbureted model in India and it exported the NS200 FI to a few export markets till now. The 2020 Pulsar NS200 FI produces 24.5 PS of peak power at 9750 rpm and 18.5 Nm of maximum torque at 8000 rpm from the same 199.5 cc, triple spark, 4-valve, SOHC, liquid cooled engine.

This means that the new model is 1 PS more powerful than before and the peak power now comes 250 rpm later. Torque has also increased by 0.2 Nm and it continues to spike at the same rpm as before.

The other big change is the increment in weight from 154 kilos earlier to 160 kg now. It still continues with single channel ABS.
