New 2020 Benelli 600i pics have surfaced and surprisingly they are different from the recently spotted model – What’s cooking Benelli?
Just a few weeks back, the first ever spy pics of what was touted to be the new 2020 Benelli TNT 600i surfaced (also inserted below). And within a short span of time, we have fresh images of the motorcycle that have emerged online at Bennetts – a UK based auto magazine.
These appear to be studio images but they carry certain changes from the motorcycle that was spotted earlier. First up, the headlamp is completely different and a lot more aggressive! It takes inspiration from company’s larger models. The side blinkers are integrated into the tank extension whereas on the other model they jutted out from the sides of the headlamp.
There is a split seat in place of a single unit of the other model. Plus there are other minor changes like new colour theme, logo placement etc. Now this is a little confusing considering that both the models look almost production ready.
Is this hinting at a slightly different strategy from Benelli? Are they preparing two dissimilar variants for different markets or is one of them a discarded model and the other the final commercial product?
Things should get clearer in the months to come but what is certain is that there is a significantly updated 600i under works and it may be unveiled at the upcoming EICMA. TNT 600i is India’s most affordable four-cylinder motorycle and costs Rs 6.20 Lakh ex-showroom. This upcoming 2020 600i will definitely come to India and should be introduced with a BS VI compliant engine.

For now, Benelli is all set to introduce the Leoncino in India along with the Royal Enfield rival Imperiale 400 sometime this year.
