Days Before Launch 250 Duke BS6 Spotted in New Colour

New 250 Duke BS6 pics suggest that the motorcycle has started reaching dealerships and its launch is expected this Friday…

Apart from the official launch of the 390 Adventure, KTM has started dispatching its Bharat Stage 6 compliant motorcycles from the existing range to dealerships. The 250 Duke has been spotted wearing new clothes at some dealership in India.

The motorcycle adorning black and grey theme gets a bigger ‘250’ sticker on the tank. It also features orange and grey coloured frame. The display motorcycle is sporting a rear grab rail. Rest of the stuff appears to be similar including the digital instrument cluster, MRF tyres etc.

Apart from one or two new colours to the palette the 2020 250 Duke is also expected to get a few new features aside a Bharat Stage VI compliant engine. The current 250 Duke is offered in brighter orange and white colour combinations.

Next-Gen KTM RC390 – Speculative Render Pic Emerges

It will be interesting to see if it loses any power during this transition. For reference, the current quarter liter Duke produces 30 bhp of peak power and 24 Nm of max torque. It must be known that the 373cc engine retains its 43 bhp and 37 Nm in BS6 regime – as can be ascertained by the power figures of the 390 Adventure (yes, it is BS6 compliant).

Next-Gen 390 Duke Spotted Testing Barebones

The current 250 Duke is priced at around Rs 1.95-1.96 Lakh ex-showroom and the new version is expected to cost between Rs 2.05-2.10 Lakh. Launch is expected this Friday 24th January.
