2019 Gixxer features fuel injection as standard and is now available at dealerships…
Suzuki commenced dispatches of the new 2019 Gixxer before they announced its official launch in India. It has started reaching dealerships as can be ascertained by these latest pics; credit – Oggy Ralte.
The black and silver colours can be seen here. There is another metallic blue colour on offer. Deliveries at some dealerships may have commenced and at other places they will start in the coming few days.
2019 Gixxer Features
For some reason, the new Gixxer has shed 0.7 PS of power and now churns 14.1 PS of peak power at the same 8000 rpm. Torque numbers of 14 Nm have remain unchanged. The motorcycle now comes with fuel injection as standard and ditches kick starter as well.

It comes with a split seat and the seat height has been raised slightly. In the process, the new Gixxer has also added four kilogram of extra flab. You can check out the list of all changes here. 2019 Gixxer has been priced at Rs 100,212 which is considerably higher than the older model but that is because of the addition of fuel injection.

Five year warranty is on offer out of which three years are optional (and paid). Gixxer still remains a BS IV compliant motorcycle but addition of fuel injection is a clear indication that Suzuki does have the upcoming BS VI mandate in sights.
