After the faired Gixxers, the next big thing from Suzuki will be the naked range. Out of the two siblings, the 150 has just been leaked through what looks like a brochure pic (here). Considering that it is almost a certainty that both the motorcycles will share their looks, Indianautosblog has posted a speculative render pic of the quarter liter…
So, this is how the Gixxer 250 is expected to look. In terms of differences (with the 150), it gets wider tyres, bigger disc brakes and different alloy wheels – all from the Gixxer SF 250. As was visible in the first ever spy pics we shared (also inserted below), this rendering also deploys the contrast coloured tank extension with the ‘250’ sticker.
In place of that bulky fairing, the naked comes with an inverted pentagon shaped headlamp which should house an LED lamp.
Power will come from the same new 249 cc, single cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC motor of the Gixxer SF 250 and the power output of 26.5 PS and max torque of 22.6 Nm is also expected to continue unchanged. However, there may be some tuning changes between the two motorcycles considering their relatively different usage.

The best bit is the possible price tag of nearly 1.5 Lakh ex-showroom, which will make it a very compelling motorcycle in this price range.
