2018 Pulsar RS200 may carry some mechanical changes along with new less-highlighting decals…
This is a very interesting catch! Soon after we are done with Apache RR 310’s launch hype, we have Bajaj road testing their Pulsar RS200. The lone pic circulated by Rushlane, has a camouflaged test mule with a few red accents on the side panel, rear panel and the alloy wheels are also red in colour.
There are no other changes to the design apart from the exhaust pipe which appears to be slightly different. So, what is Bajaj planning?
2018 Pulsar RS200?
This can not simply be a new colour because it will not require any on-road testing specially with all that camouflage. And in all probability this is not the bigger Pulsar RS400 which was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. A simple giveaway is that crank case cover which is the same as the current RS200 (Dominar 400 – the motor which will go to Pulsar RS400, has a different design of crank case).

As it appears, there may be some mechanical changes to the motorcycle and Bajaj is out on the roads testing them for quality/new tune. This could be the upgraded 2018 version under tests which may carry some improvements to the powertrain or/and some other parts.
