Honda Rolls Out Unicorn Grand Prix Edition

by Deepak on October 9, 2008

Looks like Honda just can’t stand back and watch the Yamaha FZ16 all set to dominate the 150cc segment. We too have a 150cc bike, shouts Honda. The successful Unicorn has got a facelift in looks with the limited edition Unicorn Grand Prix.

Honda says “Originated from the Honda’s racing DNA, The Limited Unicorn Grand Prix Edition Is designed to bring the authentic racing experience every time you ride it”

I am unsure what kind of ‘new experience’ that riders will get with no significant improvement in engine performance. Can the bike stickers alone improve it? It would have been nice if Honda rolls out a street bike to compete with Yamaha!

Not in India, not in Indonesia (i’m Indonesian BTW), this is just a common yet disgusting practice of Honda, putting a new sticker on an old product, giving it a nice advertising, then stamp a new, inflated price on it. Shame on you, Honda !
