Hero Splendor+, HF Deluxe Flex Fuel Discounts Announced

Hero has doled out cash discounts on both these E85 fuel-ready motorcycles in order to make them accessible and affordable to more buyers

Hero MotoCorp recently launched the Splendor+ flex fuel and HF Deluxe flex fuel at price points of Rs 82,810 and Rs 72,792, respectively. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi. Now, the company has announced cash discounts of Rs 4,000 on both these E85 fuel compliant models in order to bring the pricing close to the regular (E20) version. Hero Splendor+ flex fuel and HF Deluxe flex fuel are capable of running on ethanol-blended petrol with ethanol content ranging from 20% (E20) to 85% (E85).

With the flat discount of Rs 4,000, the effective ex-showroom price of the Spendor+ flex fuel and HF Deluxe flex fuel stand at 78,810 and Rs 68,792, respectively. With the revised pricing, Hero HF Deluxe flex fuel presently costs Rs 1,650 less than the E20 model. On the other hand, the Splendor+ flex fuel is around Rs 1,153 more expensive than the E20 model.

Both the E85 fuel compliant models have been developed at the Hero’s state-of-the-art R&D hub, the Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur. The flex fuel bikes will be available in Delhi and select regions of Maharashtra in July 2026, followed by nationwide rollout soon thereafter. Presently, E20 petrol, which has 20 percent blending of ethanol in petrol, is sold in India as standard fuel.

Hero Splendor+ flex fuel and HF Deluxe flex fuel are equipped with a new fuel pump, secondary fuel filter and calibrated ECU map. Apart from these mechanical updates, the bikes come with refreshed graphics in dual-tone Black and Lime Yellow theme, side stand engine cut-off, tubeless tyres and a new digi-analogue instrument cluster. The overall power output and torque delivery increase by 7 percent and 3 percent, respectively, while running on E85 fuel.

Both the motorcycles are powered by a 97.2cc single-cylinder petrol engine which generates top power of 8.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 8.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox as it comes with flex fuel compatibility between E20–E85. Recently, Harshavardhan Chitale – CEO of Hero MotoCorp, announced that the entire portfolio of motorcycles will have flex fuel versions within the next two years.

“We are ready to bring all our models with flex-fuel technology in a matter of one or two years, depending on how the fuel linkage grows. We are ready and we are committed to make that happen,” said Harshavardhan Chitale, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Hero MotoCorp. Chitale also confirmed that Hero has already developed the technology and it will soon be extended across the entire portfolio.
