Apart from the standard R15 version 4, Yamaha has also launched the special ‘M’ edition of the motorcycle. The M editions in the company’s range generally signify higher-spec trims that come with special features and same is the case with the R15M.
THE R15M carries over the same 155cc, 4-valve, liquid cooled engine that churns 18.4 PS of peak power at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm. It is also paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
However, it gets few special features like Quick shifter, special grey color theme, exclusive rider and pillion seat, golden colored brake calipers, etc.
It shares features like golden colored upside down front forks and traction control system that has been introduced on the latest generation R15. The R15M also carries over the new LCD instrument cluster which now comes with Bluetooth connectivity which provides it smartphone pairability.
Besides that there are the regular features like assist and slipper clutch, deltabox frame, dual channel ABS, etc.
