Yamaha FZX bookings are being taken by some company dealers but these are not officially signaled by the Jap…
The upcoming neo retro 150cc Yamaha FZ-X is all set to debut on 18th June. The company has rolled out media invites. And since we are in the midst of a pandemic, it will be an online event.
And just ahead of that, few Yamaha dealerships across India have started to accept bookings for the motorcycle. Interested customers can contact their nearest Yamaha showrooms to get an accurate idea about the booking process and the exact amount.
Additionally, a video has surfaced on the internet that reveals the side-rear portion while also allowing us to listen to its exhaust note. Here it is…
Since these are unofficial pre-bookings, an exact amount has not been fixed. If you want to be an early adopter, you may have to shell out somewhere between INR 1000 to INR 10,000 to secure your bike.
We are unsure about the placement of the upcoming model – whether it will be above the 150cc FZ range, or below it? Expect it to come with Bluetooth connectivity that has been recently introduced by Yamaha, at least as an option.
The Yamaha FZ-X has earlier been spotted during its promo shoots. From that, we already know that the bike will come, at least, in orange/black and grey/silver shades.
The FZ-X has borrowed its looks from the international Yamaha XSR 155 however, it will be based on the 150cc FZ platform. For reference, the XSR155 is an R15-platform machine.
The entry sports motorcycle segment will see a new addition in Yamaha FZ-X after some time.

On the other hand, Indian sports bike enthusiasts have been waiting for the Japanese automaker to introduce the BS6 Yamaha YZF R3 but there is nothing on it from Yamaha, so far.
