Xpulse deliveries are expected to commence by end of May – bookings have NOT opened yet…
So you have liked the three new Hero motorcycles that were launched a couple of days back. Just to clarify – official bookings of the motorcycles have NOT commenced yet; Hero intends to open them in the days to come. So, whatever you are paying at your dealership is unofficial!
At the launch of the new ‘X’ range of motorcycles, Sanjay Bhan, Head of Sales & After Sales, Hero MotoCorp, said that dispatches of these models from the factory will commence ‘within a week or 10 days‘. He added..
So, Hero intends to start deliveries of Xpulse 200, Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200S by the end of this month. However, expect dealerships in most of the cities to commence deliveries from next month.
The good thing is that – unlike the Xtreme 200R, where there was no clarity in communication from Hero, this time they sound a little more confident in what they are doing. Hero first introduced the Xtreme 200R in the relatively smaller market of North-Eastern India. It appeared that the ploy was to deliver a handful of motorcycles to ensure there is no widespread escalation if there crops up some minor/major niggle. And only when they became confident of the product (and the engine), they expanded it to all the rest of the cities of India.
The complete range of Hero’s ‘X’ motorcycles now starts from Rs 90,900 for the Xtreme 200R and spreads to Rs 1.05 lakh for the Xpulse 200 FI.
