Hero has just bombarded the 200cc segment with as many as three new motorcycles – all of them joining the fourth one Xtreme 200R. We will talk about the Xtreme 200S in this story.
Xtreme 200S is the full faired sibling of the naked we already have. It comes with the following features..
- Full fairing for better protection against wind blasts on highways
- Full LED headlamp and tail lamp
- Digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity
- It also features turn-by-turn navigation
- Single-channel ABS is standard
It shares most of its parts with the ‘R’ including the engine. Hence it continues to be powered by the same 2-valve, air cooled, SOHC 199.6 cc engine which itself is based on Honda Unicorn’s 150 cc motor. On the Xtreme 200S it continues to produce 18.4 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of max torque at 6500 rpm – paired to the same 5-speed gearbox. Unlike the Xpulse 200, Xtreme 200S is offered only with a carburettor (no FI for now).
