What Could Be The Expected Price of Flagship TVS iQube ST??

TVS iQube ST can be pre-booked at Rs. 999/- form the official website or authorised dealership… TVS will begin deliveries form August…

So, last month TVS updated their first electric scooter – iQube – after two years and introduced the three variants – iQube, S and ST. The newly launched iQube variants are arguably the most tech-loaded electric scooters with competitive pricing.

However, TVS is yet to announce the pricing of their top-spec ST variant of iQube.

What could the pricing of iQube ST be?? Let’s discuss..

Expected Pricing of TVS iQube ST

So, after introducing iQube in 2020, TVS split it into 3 variants when it updated it last month.

We know the on-road pricing and offered colours of iQube and iQube S variants, and you can have a look in the table below –

Notice the ‘Yet to be Announced’ in front of the iQube ST data. The company refrained from revealing the pricing of the flagship ‘ST’ variant, but announced that it could be pre-booked at Rs. 999/- either on the official website or the nearest TVS authorised dealership.

However, now, thanks to some sources, we have knowledge of what the pricing of the flagship iQube ST could be.

The sources have revealed that the new iQube ST variant could command a premium of Rs. 20,000/- over the mid-spec iQube S variant.

This means, we can expect the on-road pricing of iQube ST variant to be Rs. 1,29,256 (on-road, Delhi).

The above mentioned on-road pricing is inclusive of the FAME-II subsidy and state subsidy offered on this electric scooter. And this pricing could easily tilt the competitive advantage in the premium electric scooter segment towards TVS.

This is because, At Rs. 1,29,256/- (on-road Delhi) , the TVS iQube ST will be Rs. 30,000/- cheaper than Bajaj Chetak premium, Rs. 22,000/- cheaper than susceptible to breakage Ola S1 Pro and significant Rs. 31,000/- cheaper than the Ather 450X!!

These sources further shared that the company is planning to announce these prices in July and will begin deliveries from August. This information matches the report we shared a few days ago, about which you can read here.

And if you’re wondering why are we favouring the iQube ST over the other competitors, this is because, arguably, the iQube ST will be offering the most features in the segment and a longer range at a more competitive and lower price.

The iQube ST variants will get a  7” TFT instrumentation assisted by a 5-way joystick to control the screen longwith being touch-enabled to offer better control of the screen. The full lighting setup will be all-LED and will come with two riding modes – Economy & Power. The charging system is off-board and will come in two capacities – 950 W & 1500 W.

TVS iQube, iQube S and iQube ST, all come fully loaded with Bluetooth connectivity and SmartXonnect features. There are few features which are not available in the lower spec models, but the ST models come with each and every feature the company offers. There is reverse mode, theft alert, flip key with torch, crash & fall alert, hazard warning lights, utility space, etc features loaded on the scooter with features like TPMS, Cruise Control, Keyless ignition announced to come in a future update.
