TVS Motor has gone on a rampage with teasers of its upcoming motorcycle on its social media channels. It is calling it the ‘Wicked Ride’. Through short video snippets, TVS has revealed the following bits about the bike…
- Interestingly designed LED DRLs and headlamp design
- Conventional bulb-type side blinkers
- Split seat set-up
- Fairly muscular tank design with tank scoops
- Negative LCD instrument cluster with gear indicator
As company’s Joint MD, Sudarshan Venu had revealed couple of days back, this is most likely the 125cc motorcycle that it plans to introduce within this month.
The name hasn’t been revealed by the company yet and it is expected to be one from – Retron, Fiero and Raider – the three brands TVS had registered for our market.
This motorcycle has been confirmed for an online launch for 16th September ie tomorrow from 11 am onwards.

TVS has been absent in this segment for the last few years. With the broadening of the market due to massive price hikes in the last few years, it has become imperative for mass market manufacturers to pay heed to all these three segments 100cc, 125cc and 150cc – and the sub-segments that have been created within them.
Ntorq has been a blockbuster for TVS in the 125cc scooter segment and it will be hoping to receive similar level of interest on its upcoming 125cc motorcycle.
