Upcoming Motorcycles and Scooters Launching in March 2025 in India

This article lists all the new bikes and scooters launching this month in the Indian market with their features, engine specs and expected price

Several leading two-wheeler brands in the country will launch exciting new models in March 2025 as the FY 2024-25 is coming to an end this month. We expect multiple new scooters and motorcycles to go on sale in our market this month. Most of these models have already been unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January. Some were showcased at various other events such as the India Bike Week (IBW) 2024 and Motoverse 2024 among others. In this article, we will talk about the upcoming bikes and scooters launching in March 2025 in India.

1. KTM 390 Enduro R: KTM India launched the 2025 390 Adventure last month in the Indian market. Now, the company is expected to introduce the 2025 390 Enduro R in our country this month. The bike had its world premiere at the EICMA 2024 in November and it was later showcased at the India Bike Week (IBW) 2024 in Goa for gauging customer response. Sitting on a new two-piece steel trellis frame, it is totally built for off-roading purposes. The 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R comes with an unique off-road mode while traction control and ABS are also switchable. The motorcycle is equipped with the same 399 cc single-cylinder LC4 engine with power and torque around 45 bhp and 39 Nm, respectively, while paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

2. TVS Apache RTX 300: TVS is all set to foray into the middleweight adventure segment with the Apache RTX 300 in India. The motorcycle was briefly unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 last month. The RTX 300 boasts of an array of premium features in form of ride-by-wire throttle, traction control system, all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS etc. to name a few. The styling draws inspiration from other ADV bikes with elements like split-seat setup, massive windshield and USD front forks. It will house an all-new 299.1 cc liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine which has been developed in-house by TVS. This engine will make 34.5 bhp at 9000 rpm and 28.5 Nm at 7000 rpm while linked to a 6-speed transmission.

3. Royal Enfield Classic 650: Globally unveiled at the EICMA 2024 in November, the Classic 650 will finally launch this month in the domestic market. Tipping the scale at 243 kg, it is going to be the heaviest Royal Enfield motorcycle till date while positioned below the Super Meteor 650 in the brand portfolio. The Classic 650 shares hardware and equipment with the Shotgun 650 whereas the styling cues have been taken from the RE best-seller, the Classic 350. It will be packed with the tried-and-trusted 648 cc parallel-twin engine which generates maximum power output of 46.3 bhp and peak torque performance of 52.3 Nm while coupled with a 6-speed unit. The motorcycle could have a starting price of Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

4. Bajaj Chetak 3503: Bajaj Auto had launched the Chetak 35 series in Dec 2024 in the country. It was presented in three trims namely 3501, 3502 and 3503. While the brand revealed the pricing and features of the 3501 and 3502 variants, it held back the details of the 3503 for a later stage. Hence, it is expected to announce the price of Chetak 3503 this month along with its technical specs. Being tauted as the ‘Most feature-loaded Chetak till date’, it is expected to get a lot of advanced features, akin to the Chetak 3501 and Chetak 3502. In addition, Bajaj Chetak 3503 will come with the same battery pack, placed under the floorboard. The range, top speed and charging time are expected to be revealed closer to the launch date this month.

5. Hero Karizma XMR 250: Hero MotoCorp had debuted the Karizma XMR 250 alongside the Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 last month in New Delhi. However, the company didn’t announce the pricing of the fully-faired motorcycle at that time. Though Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R were launched at the event, the Karizma XMR 250 was held back. The motorcycle flaunts a split LED headlamp setup, new graphics and integrated winglets. It is offered with a brand spanking new 250 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which dishes out 30 bhp and 25 Nm. Other major highlights of the Karizma XMR 250 include height-adjustable clip-on handlebars, TFT instrument cluster and slipper & assist clutch.
