This upcoming Honda scooter concept gets retro-styling, and could possibly come with a 100-150cc engine.
Honda is the undisputed leader in the Indian scooter market, led by its popular scooter model – the Activa. The scooter alone contributes to more than half of the total volumes in the country. To keep its supremacy secure, Honda continuously upgrades its vehicles to keep them at par with the trends, and also launches new products regularly.
As per reports, it looks like the company has been working on a new scooter concept that gets neo-retro styling. Some Honda’s intellectual property filing documents have emerged on the internet, which show the new concept in its full glory.
Looking at the images, we can make out that the scooter is more of a concept and hence, gets flashier parts a lot of them will definitely not go to production. It lacks provision for a license plate, and the slit-lights will sure be modified if at all, the vehicle rolls off the production lines in the future. That apart, it also gets a very interesting floating windscreen design, which, again, may not make it to production.
While the scooter gets retro-styling, it looks equally futuristic with its sharp looks. It gets flower-like 12-spoke alloy wheels, with a disc brake at the front. To handle the suspension duties, the scooter is equipped with telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear. With these basic specifications, we expect that this upcoming scooter to get a 100-150 cc engine.

Opinion: Is Removal of Honda CB 300R from the Website a Positive SIGN…?
Though we have our hands on these pictures, there’s no word from the company yet on this scooter. Hence, we are not sure which markets it will go to once and if it enters production.
