2021 Apache 310 Media Ride Cancelled Due to COVID But Launch is ON

Upcoming Apache 310 launch will now be an online event that will be conducted in the coming few days. Expect many changes on the 2021 model…

TVS surprised everyone by sharing a (very innovative) media ride invite of the 2021 Apache RR 310 between April 7-9 2021 (our report). It shared a frame with journalists with their caricature along with a teaser pic of the upcoming model.

Why it was surprising was because TVS had updated the Apache 310 with a lot of changes (apart from Bharat Stage 6 compliance) just last year. You can check out the list of changes in the 2020 model in the following video..

That makes us wonder what remains to be updated in the flagship. And since the media ride was scheduled at Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai, it could not simply be a cosmetic update with new colors and minor changes.

Nonetheless, Varghese Thomas, Vice President – Corporate Communications, had shot in an email yesterday evening informing the journalists about the cancellation of the media ride in the wake of the surging COVID-19 cases across the country. He added that this decision was taken keeping everyone’s health and safety in mind.

However, the upcoming Apache 310 launch program, that will now be virtual, will be conducted in the coming days, most probably around the same time frame of 7-9 April. Exact date and time will be shared by the company soon.

2021 Apache 200 RIDE MODES: What Are the Differences Between Them…?

The 2021 Apache 310 is expected to get a minor change in face, apart from new tyres, altered engine tuning, sorting of ride modes, adjustable Showa shock absorbers apart from new colors/graphics. However, nothing is certain at this point. But what is a given is that the company is working extremely hard to fine tune its flagship before venturing into something new in this segment.
