SPIED: UM DSR Adventure Motorcycles Spotted Again

UM Adventure motorcycles launch is definitely on the cards as multiple leaks have revealed. If anything on these small capacity versions is also planned, it will be known later…

When many other portals were telling you the last time that these are UM DSR X/Hypersport, we revealed that these motorcycles are DSR Adventure and DSR Adventure TT. Yes, these small capacity adventure/dual-sport motorcycles have been caught again in India and Rushlane has shared their pictures along with a Mahindra Mojo in the background.

Considering the colours of the latest spotting, these may be the same models that were spotted earlier. Both the Adventure and Adventure TT are powered by the same 124cc single cylinder, water cooled engine and produce 15 PS of peak power at 9750 rpm and 10.9 Nm of maximum torque at 8250 rpm. They have a claimed top speed of 99 kph.

The difference between the two siblings is that the TT is the more off-road friendly version with 21 inch tyres, lesser plastic and spoke wheels and the Adventure is the more road-biased variant. They cost £3500 (about 3.15 Lakh in INR) and £2900 (~ 2.60 Lakh in INR) respectively.

It is common sense that UM will not be launching the 125cc versions of these motorcycles, if they have any plans regarding these. For now, there are strong chances of Adventure 200 making its way into India. Based on Romet ADV 125 Pro, UM’s Adventure 200 was spotted in India and few leaks even suggested its retail price.

UM Discontinues All Motorcycles Temporarily

However, UM has halted sales of all its motorcycles for now as they do not still come equipped with ABS – a ruling which came into effect from 1st April 2019. What is happening in the background is not known but UM’s next innings in India will definitely focus on entry and mid-size ADVs!
