Two-Wheeler Sales May 2021 – Hero, Honda, Bajaj, TVS & Royal Enfield

Two-Wheeler sales May 2021 present a very sorry picture for the overall industry due to COVID-19 led lockdowns and restrictions…

So, we now have the wholesale data of most of the manufacturers for the month of May 2021. Instead of reporting individually about each manufacturer, we believe reporting them under a combined table gives a better picture.

Because of lockdowns and various restrictions across the country due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, sales have been muted with limited dispatches. During the month many manufacturers also announced plant closures for a few days.

You will see greener numbers as compared to May 2020 because last year was even worse for the industry due to the nationwide lockdown. And to present a bigger picture we are also adding last month’s numbers.
