Taking a cue from Bajaj Auto which is India’s largest exporter of two-wheelers, TVS Motor has expanded to United Arab Emirates. It has partnered with Al Yousuf MC of UAE which will become the sole distributor for the company in that region. TVS also informs that it is present in 60 countries of the world.
At the official announcement, a 2700 square feet showroom was inaugurated which is located at Sheikh Zayed road in Dubai. This will be a 3S facility and will host spare parts as well as service of TVS branded two-wheelers.
TVS has decided to take a comprehensive lineup of its products to UAE which include..
- Super-Premium: Apache 310 in the super premium space for all the motoring enthusiasts in the region.
- Premium: The trio of Apache 200 4V, Apache 160 4V and Apache 180 Race Edition will take care of the premium segment in that market.
- Commuter: In the commuter segment, TVS is placing HLX 150 and HLX 125 motorcycles. HLX range comprises cost effective Bajaj Boxer like utility motorcycles. TVS informs that its HLX series is 1 million strong across the globe.
- Scooters: TVS has decided to take its scooters into the UAE market as well. Along with the sporty Ntorq 125, TVS will sell its popular scooter Jupiter as well as Wego in the Arabian market.
