TVS sales for May 2020 have risen significantly over zero sales in the month of April 2020 where we were under strict lockdown…
Another month is over and we have only seen a consistent increment in COVID-19 cases across the country. However, in order to kick start the economy, Indian Government has eased lockdowns in major parts of the country which has meant that businesses are now limping back to normalcy.
TVS Motor has shared its sales numbers for the month of May 2020. The Chennai based maker registered total wholesales of 58,906 units. Out of this, total 2-wheeler sales stood at 56,218 units whereas the remaining were its three-wheelers. From this number, 41,067 units were sold in the domestic market and the rest 15,151 were exported to other countries.
From today, we have also moved to Unlock 1.0 strategy as coined by the Government wherein we have a lot of relaxations and majority of the businesses have reopened or are on the verge of reopening.
This will surely enable more people to move out of their homes and finally get their pending motorcycle and scooter purchases done. We are expecting much better numbers from next month onwards.
