Next TVS 310 motorcycle launch in 2021 – it is expected to build on the premium brand that the Apache 310 has managed to create in these three years…
TVS and BMW partnered for an alliance to produce low-cost motorcycles for India and the world. About three years back, the duo launched as many as three new motorcycles – two of them – G310 GS and G310 R, are sold under BMW’s moniker and one, Apache RR 310, is sold by TVS.
The BMW’s versions are sold in almost 90 countries in the world and in December 2019, the maker, TVS Motor company achieved a shipping milestone of 50,000 units of the two BMW models. Very recently, TVS updated its Apache 310 with Bharat Stage 6 compliance along with many mechanical and cosmetic updates.
In a latest word coming out from K.N. Radhakrishnan, President and CEO of TVS Motor, the company would introduce another variant possibly by next year ie 2021. Considering that TVS is still to use this 310 platform fully, we expect a similar capacity model adorning a different type of styling. However, what form will the ‘under works’ model adopt is not known; nor have we seen a single spyshot yet.

Radhakrishnan added that BMW is extremely happy with the products and TVS will continue to invest in delighting customers. According to the report, Apache 310 was doing an average of 250 units a month. Though it is far from achieving its target (TVS initially announced a sales target of 10,000 units in the first year which averages to roughly 830-840 bikes a month), it is one of the best motorcycles in its segment.
